Vets2Careers is an initiative of the America Campaign, a national movement to improve the lives of all Americans.
We know that some veterans face challenges in finding a job much less a career and we're here to do our part to help. The White House Joining Forces blog states "America’s veterans are national and civic assets. Veterans bring extraordinary skills and experience to the civilian work force when they leave the work force – and it's clear that companies want to hire veterans because it’s good for their bottom line." We agree 100% and have built our programs to leverage the skills that make veterans assets to our workforce. Our programs are:
- Our Vets2Tech partnership with the Big Sky Code Academy provides veterans with the opportunities to learn the skills required to enter the tech sector. The 12-week intensive boot camp at the Academy is designed to teach individuals with little to no coding experience but with a passion to enter the software development arena how to write code and build web applications at a professional level. Vets2Careers will be working with our strategic partners to provide scholarships for veterans and military spouses to attend these boot camps. Contact us to learn more about these scholarships!
Vets2Chefs is a hands-on 30 day intensive professional cooking training program for those interested in pursuing study and career opportunities in the foodservice, hotel and hospitality industries. If you're interested in being part of our 2016 Vets2Chefs bootcamp, sign up below to join our mailing list and we'll email you when we open up our application process.
Yes...we also have a job board so employers can post jobs and veterans can search for jobs. We get a a lot of requests for job postings so we built a job board.
